Double click in the grid in a cell of the line Background. A window will then open.
If your page is empty, place your background in column 1.
NEW : The background of the screen is the color or the image pattern that will appear behind all the others multimedia elements (images, texts, animations...).
When you make an element disappear, this is replaced by the contents of the screen background at its position.
You can change the screen background globally (line screen background).
NEW : By default the screen background is white.
Image chosen will repeat all over project screen if necessary.
NEW : When you use this line, the picture or the color chosen will appear on all the following pages. See the rules of the grid

- an image file (BMP, ICO, JPEG, GIF)
Complete "Choose an image" by clicking on the button arrow.
Select your file then confirm.
If your picture exceeds the size of the project, the software offers to save it with an adapted size in a new file. In a general manner, the resolution of your pictures must not exceed 96 dpi (scanner on format screen or web).
NEW : If your picture is smaller than the size of the project, it will be repeated all over the project screen.

- a solid image
Click on "Create a solid image".
To change color, click on the small color square.

- a gradient image
Click on "Create a gradient image".
Choose between "vertical gradient" or "horizontal gradient".
To change the colours, click on the colour squares.

The background, by definition, occupies all the surface of the page.
You cannot therefore position it or proportion it : "Left" and "Top" values are 0, "Width" ("Height") the sizes of your project.

- Transparency
Change "Filter" (by default "Normal").
Three transparences possibles :
- Transparent white: None of the white pixels of your image will appear (R: 255, G: 255, B: 255).
- Transparent black: None of the black pixels of your image will appear (R: 0, G: 0, B: 255).
- Transparent: The color of the pixel located on the bottom left part of your image determines the transparency color.

- Color filters
Change Filter.
View filters.

- Transtion effects or movements
Change transition effect (by default "Immédiate").
59 transition effects are availables (left-right, morphing, straight, parable, cercle, fade...).
If you select Left-Right, your image will appear gradually from left to right.

Adjust the delay of appearance with "Effect duration" (1.5 sec).


"Broken line" effect (demo and version pro) can be customized.
Simply enter all the x and y differents positions of your image.
Enter just one space char between each position.

- Indicate a pause
Change the value "Pause after display" (by default 0).
Indicate in seconds (with a comma if desired) the duration of the pause you wish to insert after the image has appeared in its entirety. This pause will be applied to the whole column.

- immediatly
Choose "Reset the background".
This choice will make all the medias previously introduced disappear.
The background ( and the additions realised with "include in the background") introduced beforehand will replace them all.
With this option, you can make several elements reappear simultaneously.
NEW : You can only use this function if you stay on the same page.

Click on the button "Draw" or "Scanner".
These buttons launch the associated external software.

Click on the button OK.
According to your choice, the name of the file, "solid image", "gradient image", or "disappearance" appears in the slot of the grid.
